Louise Veal, 92, passed away Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, in Burleson.
Graveside services are 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at Oaklawn Cemetery, Decatur, Texas. Visitation is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb, 23, 2017, at Skyvue Funeral Home, Mansfield, Texas.
Louise was born March 3, 1924, in Era, Texas. She married Earl Veal on Feb 16, 1944. She had a passion for always being busy. Her first priority was her family. She worked until she was 86. Louise was known for her flowers and pecan tarts which she baked on a weekly basis. She never met a stranger and enjoyed learning about each person she met. In her later years, she lived at Covenant Place of Burleson. Louise loved it there.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; son, Craig; and two siblings.
Survivors include her daughter, Dana Beasley and husband, Robert; daughter-in-law, Lori Veal; siblings, Joyce Shults and Billy Joe Skinner; grandchildren; Brandon and wife, Alicia, Amber, Matthew and wife, Gina, Russell and wife, Kelsey, and Eleanor; five great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and countless friends.
