Ernest Raymond Ensz, 80, of Burleson, Texas, passed away peacefully, Monday, July 24, 2017.
A private memorial service gathering for family and friends will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas, on Sept. 7, 2017, at 11:00 a.m.
Ernest was born June 23, 1937, in Fort Ransom, North Dakota, to Jacob and Lillian Ensz. He served in the US Air Force from 1957 to 1959. Ernset married Gloria Borchardt from McClusky, North Dakota, on Dec. 12, 1959. He was employed by Freight Masters in 1963, then retired from New York Brakes as an electronics tech in 1999.
He and his wife, Gloria, were members of First Baptist Church and Cana Baptist Church, in Burleson.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria, of Burleson; three daughters, Melody and Steve Carpenter, of Dell City, Texas, Dawn McVicar of Fort Worth, Texas, and Sherrie and Scott Black, of Burleson, Texas; grandchildren, Austin Black and wife, Nikki, and Allie Black; and great-grandchildren, Jade and Harper, of Burleson, Texas.
