Robert “Bubba” Dean Warren, 63, of Missouri City, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018.

Funeral services were 1:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at Burleson Church of Christ. Visitation was 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment followed the service at Burleson Memorial Park.

Bubba was born Nov. 1, 1954, in Post, to Mack and Vinita (Luttrell) Warren. He loved college football and was a fanatic OU fan. Bubba loved to take his wife on cruises. Everything Bubba did was done with much passion and integrity. His legacy lives on forever in the hearts of everyone he touched. Generosity was his special character trait; he never had to think about sharing or giving. Bubba loved his family more than anything in this world. He learned to text and facetime just to communicate with his kids and grandkids. This was big because he hated this technology. He was a good man, and he left us with great memories.

Survivors include his wife, Lela Warren, of Missouri City; daughter, Erika Baker and husband, Jason, of Midland; sons, Shannon Warren, of Allen, and Tim Warren and wife, Devon, of Burleson; grandchildren, Ryan Warren, Logan Warren, Blake Warren, Bryce Warren, Hailey Baker, and Zachary Baker; mother, Vinita Warren, of Hermleigh; siblings, Joyce Lionberger and husband, Jim, of Hermleigh, Connie McClarney and husband, Lance, of Katy; Stan Warren and wife, Terri, of Georgetown; Tracy Dickerhoff and husband, Paul, of Snyder; sister-in-law, Sheila Vineyard and husband, Tommy, of Missouri City; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Mountain Valley Funeral Home, in Joshua, handled the arrangements. 817-426-3200
