James, aka Jim, was a NASCAR loving, classic car driving, Dallas Cowboys fan to the end. Yes, he had his faults. He enjoyed drinking coffee with his buddies every morning as well as using his senior discount wherever possible. Jim enjoyed long walks down country roads and watching high school baseball games. He served his country proudly in the US Air Force. At the tender young age of 19, he met the love of his life that continued for 53 years until his passing. He truly embodied the famous song, "He stopped loving her today." Jim was a wonderful husband, devoted father, and doting pawpaw.
Survivors include his loving wife, Janice, of Diana; daughters, Pamela (Uwe) Rabler, of Burleson, and Kim (Greg) Platt, of Rowlett; brother, Roy Creede, of Greensboro, North Carolina; and grandchildren, Krystal, Elizabeth, Zach, Courtney, Jordan, and Addison.
He will be forever remembered for his kindness and quick wit.
