Grapevine -- Carolyn Johnson "Karo" Everitt, 80, a retired Meteorologist Tech., passed away Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016.
Carolyn was born April 11, 1936, in Quanah; grew up in Childress; and was a Joshua resident for over 30 years. She enjoyed Bingo, traveling, sunbathing, bowling, dancing, chocolate, Coca Cola and gardenias.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Edward and Emma Gertrude Johnson, of Childress; sisters, Ellie Graves and Margaret Lewis; and brothers, Charles Johnson and Clifford "Eddie" Johnson.
Survivors include her sons, Pat "Big Dawg" Everitt and wife, Carol "Pup," and Asa Scott Everitt; daughters, Shannon Lei Darriah and husband, John, and Jennifer Lynn Humphrey and husband, Todd; grandchildren, Austin, Justin, Cary, Erica, Luke, Courtney, and Alexa; and sister-in-law, Georgia Johnson.
