Bettye Joyce McKay, 84, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Saturday, April 23, 2016, in Burleson.
Her graveside service was 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Geron Family Cemetery, in Decatur. The family received friends 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home, in Dacatur.
Bettye was born March 20, 1932, to Charles and Willie (Gentry) Geron, in Biardstown, Texas. She was united in marriage to Frank R. McKay on Oct. 8, 1965, in Fort Worth.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Frank R. McKay, of Burleson; her goddaughter, Ivana Laela, of Burleson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
