Alvarado- Tony Ray Winnegar, 51, passed away Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, at his home in Alvarado.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later time.
Tony was born April 10, 1966, in Arlington, to Max Duane and Josephine Muscanere Winnegar. He attended Alvarado High School and Mansfield High School. Tony loved the outdoors and, for many years, owned and operated a landscaping business, specializing in tree service. Tony also worked as a lab tech for Texas Industries, Inc.
He loved people, especially his family, and is remembered by family and friends for his laughter and fun-loving sense of humor. Tony felt a genuine care and concern for others; and those who knew him were touched by his kindness. He will be missed by all.
Tony now has the peace that we are all promised, God’s peace.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Joey Winnegar; and a niece, Courtney Arnold.
Survivors include his parents; daughter, Cassidy Winnegar; sisters, Lucretia Hicks and husband, Glen, and Gina Walsh and husband, Bobby; grandson, Josiah Winnegar; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
