Theresia SchnagI Dixon, age 80, of Burleson was born in Munchen, Germany, on July 6, 1936 and passed away Friday, May 11, 2016, peacefully while she slept at home.
Services are 11:00 Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home, with interment at DFW National Cemetery.
Theresia was married to Melvin F. Dixon for over 50 years before he passed away. She was a very dedicated mother and, for the last 15 years of her life, would not leave her son's side. He became wheel chair bound due to a brain cancer and she devoted the rest of her days to loving and caring for him. The bible says that "there is no greater love than a man or women that gives up their life for another. "
Survivors include her two sons; other family members; and a host of friends.
