Ama Marie (Kirkpatrick) Bryant, 90, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016, in Alvarado.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2016, at the Burleson Church of Christ. Burial followed the service at Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home.
Ama was born Sept. 21, 1925, in Fort Worth to Eugene and Edith (Smith) Kirkpatrick. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Ama enjoyed time spent as a longtime Bible class leader, and was a member of the Burleson Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband of 64 years, Liston Bryant.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Pettigrew, of Burleson; son, Ronald Bryant, and wife, Paula, of Burleson; daughter, Tammy Worsham, and husband, Robin, of Ovilla; grandsons, David Pettigrew and wife, Riki, of Burleson, and Joshua Worsham, of Ovilla; granddaughters, Haley Love and husband, Zach, of Malibu, California, Kelsey Bryant, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Hannah Worsham, of Waxahachie; great-grandchildren, Jarett Bunch-Pettigrew, Emma Bunch-Pettigrew, and Haven Love; brother, Charles Kirkpatrick and wife, Carol, of Fort Worth; and many other loving extended family members and friends.
